Our Story
Jacob Anderson
Founder, owner and operator
Born and raised here in Marlborough, I have always been exposed to incredible local food and bold flavours. At a young age, I decided to spend some time learning what I could create with food at home, before crafting some substantial shopping lists. Over the past 10 years I have continued to develop my passion and skill for preparing food and more importantly, creating unforgettable food experiences.
Through extensive domestic and international travel I have been fortunate enough to experience a diverse range of culinary delights, which have sparked my creativity and eagerness to produce something of my own. While being self-taught in my passion, I have had the freedom to experiment with a vast range of ingredients, and cook and host a number of different events.
After returning to Marlborough in 2019, I realised that there was a gap in the market to offer the bespoke dining experience that is Your Table. I feel lucky to be invited into the home of others to share my culinary creations using the finest local ingredients, paired with my passion - the best pairing with great food.
